As you know, when we began to see the impacts of COVID-19 here in Ontario and we all began shifting how we do business, LCBO head office employees who could do so began working from home in the best interest of everyone’s health and well-being. Now, as the Provincial Government begins to slowly transition to re-opening the economy, and as we have begun the gradual expansion of our hours of retail operations, we are also mapping out a phased return to the workplace for our head office staff.
While our head offices have remained open, it has been with minimal staff whose roles require them to be on site. Beginning next week, we are welcoming back an additional small number of LCBO head office employees whose functions are better performed from the office and who are interested and able to return. All those who can manage effectively from home will continue to do so at this time.
The health and safety of our employees, partners, vendors and customers remains our top priority. While there may be a few more of the LCBO team returning to the workplace, we will continue to enforce a number of the safety measures we have in place, including limiting access to our buildings to essential visitors only, such as our cleaning, delivery and security company personnel. We kindly ask that you continue to connect with your LCBO partners virtually.
We will keep you updated on any changes to our operations as we continue to work through our return to the workplace planning.
Thank you and stay safe.
