Dear valued Trade Partners,
As outlined in today’s provincial announcement of a new Provincewide Shutdown, the LCBO remains open and will implement in-store capacities of up to 25% effective Sunday, December 27, 2020 when we reopen after Christmas and Boxing Day closures.
While more stringent capacity standards than required were in place in many cases, including across regions in the former Grey and Red zones, this is a change our in-store experience and we thank customers for their continued patience and understanding over this busy time of year. We will be pausing on regular Customer returns; Licensee returns will continue.
Out of consideration of the new capacity limits we have also made the decision to suspend in-store Trade visits within all C and D stores and appointments with the Store Managers in all stores. Regular visits in remaining stores will continue and Trade must continue to follow all public safety protocols including one per company and no more than three trade allowed in store at any given time. As always, representatives will still be required to sign in and complete a visitor health check declaration acknowledging that that they have answered “no” to all the health screening questions prior to providing any service to the workplace and follow all safety measures in place while in-store.
Your LCBO contacts remain available to answer any questions you may have. This is going to be a very busy week at our stores, as people prepare for altered holiday celebrations as well as potentially shopping for their needs in advance of the shutdown. We carefully approached planning for increased demand and are confident our in-stock positions will remain strong. My sincere thanks to all of you for your support at this time.
Take care and I wish you, your teams and families my very best over the holidays.
